1. Summer Shakespearare Festival

The Summer Shakespeare Festival will be held this year from July 5th to August 6th. You can enjoy live reanactment of  the Hamlet, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Comedy of Errors, The Tempest and The Winter's Tale. The Summer Shakespeare Festival is a unique open-air theatre project that allows audiences to enjoy culture in the beautiful surroundings of the Bratislava Castle. 2. HIP HOP ŽIJE

This month, The ‘Hip Hop Žije’ Festival, Slovakia's largest hip-hop event, will return to Bratislava for the ninth time. With top names from the Czech and Slovak Hip Hop scene as well as foreign names, you can anticipate enough entertainment for the whole weekend starting July 1st to July 3rd. To name a few, you can expect to see artists such as Kontrafakt, Separ, Majk Spirit, Samey Gleb and plenty others. This year's upbeat lineup will be enriched by special shows that will be both musical and visual in nature. Of course, there will be a rich accompanying  programme. Come enjoy the one-of-a-kind atmosphere of this hip hop holiday!

3. Anime Show & Game Expo Bratislava

The 15th international pop culture festival will focus on comics, anime, games, Japanese culture, KPOP, sci-fi, fantasy and horror. This festival features a diverse selection of lectures, workshops, competitions, new films, fantastic literature, music and art. It hosts writer meetings, book releases and of course various creative competitions. So, if you are intrested in any of the above, make plans to attend this month's Anime Show & Game Expo, which runs throughout July 1st and July 3rd.

4. INEKAFE Concert Bratislava

INEKAFE is a favourite band of many Slovaks.We could talk endlessly about INEKAFE's 26-year history, 13 albums and countless hits that every Slovak knows. But the bottom line is that you can never go wrong with them. So come and start July with the atmosphere of the 90s and have fun at the INEKAFE concert on July 6 in Umelka.

5. Dragon Days at Červený kameň

This year's Dragon Days Festival, which will be held at the ‘Red Stone’ is a fantastic event for the whole family. Come and explore a world of dragons, fairies and brave knights where the most beautiful stories come to life. An original dragon story with a professional cast awaits you. In addition, a rich accompanying programme full of games and fun activities awaits you. 6. Knights at Devín

Celebrate the beginning of the holidays with your little ones and take a peek into the Middle Ages with us! This unique fair called Knights on Devín hosts a rich accompanying program, fairy tales, swordsmen, dancers, tournaments, recitals and much more. Don't sit at home and become bored! Come and have fun and see this exceptional one-day medieval fair on Devín. 7. Japanese Day

Already on the second of July you can look forward to the long-awaited Japanese Day, organised by the Japanese Embassy in Slovakia. Come and see the interesting programme which will start at 2 pm on the square in front of the Old Town Hall. You can look forward to: a traditional tea ceremony, a bonsai exhibition, demonstrations of traditional Japanese clothing as well as aikido a number of Japanese songs and a demonstration of traditional Japanese weapons. Don't hesitate to come and soak up Japanese culture on 2 July.

8. Dulák Street Food Festival

Would you like to have something good to eat? Would you like to enjoy a refreshing drink or a pint?  If so, you can definitely count on the Street food at Dulák, which is definitely one of those places known to every person in Bratislava.  This month, you can expect to find all sorts of delicious food there, from street food to traditional slovak cousine and farm products like bryndza, korbáčiky and sheep cheese. 9. LP in Bratislava

LP, a celebrated singer from the United States with a distinctive image and voice, will return to Bratislava. 10. STUDIO 34 Bratislava

This July, another fantastic night awaits you at the Red Cat Cabaret. Their sophisticated and wacky boogie-woogie party show is inspired by the 1970s. The original and full-blooded live jukebox of singers and dancers at Red Cat Cabaret will play, sing, and dance their heart out and hopefully, you will be entertained.
