The Ivana Ecetová Quartet will bring the fiery Argentine tango to the Teatro Colorato theater on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The quartet is a group of professional artists who perform the passionate, spirited, and nostalgic music of South America.

The style of the ensemble is Tango Nuevo, pioneered by composer and performer Astor Piazzolla. However, the quartet’s repertoire is also enriched by compositions by classics of traditional Argentine tango, such as Carlos Gardel and Sebastián Piana. Tango Nuevo is a fascinating synthesis of Argentine folklore, classical music, and jazz.
The audience can enjoy emotional songs in Argentine Spanish, spirited tangos and milongas – all in the unique renditions of Ivana Ecetová, Matúš Ferko, Iveta Vojtušová and Ana Vyparinová Krsmanovič. The artists always provide an unforgettable artistic experience, combining passion, temperament, melancholy, and an unquenchable thirst for life.
