Stefano Guzzetti is an Italian pianist and composer, with over 32 million plays on music platforms and several tours in the US, Europe and Japan.
He is a major performer on the international modern classical scene. He has a great understanding of classical electronic and modern music.
Stefano Guzzetti has worked for designers Dolce & Gabbana, who chose his music as the backdrop for the 2017 D&G show hosted by Oscar-winning director Giuseppe Tornatore. In 2018, he performed for the same brand in New York at Dolce & Gabbana – High Jewelry, an event hosted by actress Sarah Jessica Parker.
For one of the most important book publishers in Italy, Einaudi created the sound design and accompanying music for several book trailers (Haruki Murakami, Francesco Abate, etc.).
In 2019, the Deutsche Grammophon publishing house included his composition “1983” in the XII. The Fleurs compilation album celebrates 10 years of his musical career and includes a track written in collaboration with legendary singer Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance, Golden Globe Award for the soundtrack to Gladiator).
His next project was the soundtrack to the film Eddie & Dunny with Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate, The Last of Us, released by Netflix) e Joanna Vanderham (The Runaway), directed by Desmond Devendish. He also composed the music for six episodes of the television series Ghost Hotel, which also starred writer Michela Murgia. The series was launched by Sky Arte in January 2022.
He has collaborated with the well-known British label Mute Recording, which has under its wing musical legends such as Depeche Mode, Nick Cave and Bed Seeds, New Order and Erasure.
The backdrops of his concerts have been several impressive places, such as the ancient stone buildings of Nuraga in Sardinia.
Stefano Guzzetti will perform in Slovakia for the first time. “Sometimes I wake up and I remember exactly the music I dreamed of. Those mornings can completely captivate me.”
