Creative Vessel Competition

We love creative people and original events and that’s why we couldn’t help but choose the Creative Vessel Competition for this weekend.

The highlight of the summer in Petržalka – another year of the Creative Craft Competition on the summer Great Draždiak. Just lie on the beach – or join in a crazy sunny day for the whole family, go boating, watch water exhibitions, build your own boat, jump on inflatable attractions, and at the end of the day all hands must be up and dance the whole Draždiak – MEDIAL BANANA will be playing on the main stage.

The Water Cyclists Association will give visitors a free hour – free cycling on the Draždiak Sea, as part of the Summer Wave of Fantasy 2024 event – from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

You can register on site from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as performance or recreational swimmers, or we will place you directly in or move you to the appropriate category.

10:30 – 11:30 Bicycling on the sea Draždiak free of charge
11:00 Presentation of clubs and clubs / Model boats / Flyboarding / Lifeguards on the water / Tour of the fire truck
11:00 Children’s harbour / creative workshops
16:00 – 18:00 Competition of creative vessels
18:00 Evaluation of the competition of vessels at the buffet Šutrovka
19:00 Concert of Medial Banana at the buffet Barracuda

Take part in the crazy competition of creative vessels powered by human power SUMMER WAVE OF FANTASY. A prize of €500 awaits the winning vessel in the Performance Swimmers category and €200 for the winner in the Recreational Swimmers category!

And that’s not all – every vessel registered by 5.8.2024 will receive a gift package from the Municipality of Bratislava-Petržalka and the Cultural Facilities of Petržalka.

So come on, build your own boat, there are no limits to your imagination. Maybe you will be the winning crew. And even if not, believe that the motto of the day will be – THEY WON’T GET US DRY!
