Slniečko is an art magazine for children without advertisements. It brings high-quality literary texts and playful illustrations by Slovak authors. It is intended for common reading at school and at home. It has been published for almost a hundred years and ranks among the best that the literary market offers for younger readers.

KRISTINA SOBOŇ

Graduated in illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. She works as the president of the Association of Slovak Illustrators – ASIL. Apart from being the editor-in-chief of Slniečko magazine, she cooperates with the young Slovak publishing house Monokel.

SOŇA PÚČEK BALÁŽOVÁ

She studied film dramaturgy and screenwriting at the Film School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She founded the civic association Disco Salling, which is dedicated to the popularisation and distribution of short audiovisual films. She also works as a marketing manager at the Absynt publishing house. She is also a scriptwriter.
