South Africa through the eyes of photographer Peter Dvořák. During the planned 3-week trip through Namibia, which stretched to more than twice as long, photographer Peter Dvořák also visited Botswana, Zambia, Malawi and ended the whole trip in Mozambique.
In his travel lecture you will learn why he considers Namibia one of the most amazing countries to see, what it is like in Chobe NP in Botswana, which has the largest elephant population in Africa, and whether it is worth visiting Victoria Falls. You’ll learn about Malawi’s highest mountain, as well as how to hitchhike in Mozambique or snorkel with giant sharks in the Indian Ocean.
He has been fascinated by travel since he was young, and started travelling independently on trains around Europe in high school, earning money through part-time jobs. Latin America is still his travelling heartland, but during several trips to Africa he discovered the incredible charm of this continent.
The event is supported by the Fund for the Support of the Arts.
