Opening of the Summer Reading Room

We invite you to the opening of the 20th season of the Summer Reading Room. A workshop for children and FIÚ awaits you.

We cordially invite you to the grand opening of your favorite Summer Reading Room🌿 🌱 👉 This year, you will once again be able to spend pleasant summer days in our Summer Reading Room in the Medical Garden. You will be able to come here to relax, read your favorite book, or participate in events that we will prepare for you.

Be part of the grand opening of the Summer Reading Room on Wednesday, June 18, in the Medical Garden. Starting at 4:00 p.m., you can enjoy a reading and workshop for the little ones, and at 5:00 p.m., the popular Fiú, a performative reading that aims to connect literature and movement.

The Summer Reading Room will be open until the end of August.

The event was supported by public funds from the Fund for the Support of the Arts.

📅 The Summer Reading Room will be open on weekdays from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Saturdays from 10.00 to 14.00.

📰 nearly 50 titles of newspapers and magazines in Slovak and foreign languages

📮📚 free lending of books in the Old Town Book Carousel – books will be regularly replenished in the book house

🌳 pleasant relaxation in the shade of trees and a rich cultural programme

⛩ The Summer Reading Room is located at the eastern gate (entrance from Poľná Street)
