Night of museums and galleries with Jana Dekánková and Ladislav Fančovič.
One of the final events of this year’s Night of Museums and Galleries in Bratislava will include a unique performance by jazz singer Jana Dekánková and her husband – pianist and saxophonist Ladislav Fančovič – a recent winner of the Ján Cikker Award.
Don’t miss this opportunity and come to our museum on Saturday, May 18 at 8:00 pm to enjoy their art. In the beautiful spaces of the functionalist villa, we will be transported through a musical time machine to a time when hot jazz & swing was being played – a time when the one-time master of the house – Ján Cikker – was just growing up and often enjoyed playing this musical genre himself.
