Tomas Klus at the castle

Tomáš Klus will perform this Sunday, 10 September 2023 at 7.30 pm at Šimák Castle in Pezinok. A cultural experience in a nice environment sounds good, doesn’t it?

“I’m really looking forward to people hearing the album Cítím (I Feel) also because it’s my first pop album after thirteen years of my musical career, even though I’ve been part of the Czech mainstream for all these years. I’m also looking forward to playing songs from the new album at concerts with the Cílov group, because it’s also a return to the roots, enriched with new spices.

“In 2010, he was named Vocalist of the Year at the Óčko and Anděl music awards. In 2011 and 2012, he won the silver and gold Czech Nightingale awards. He also supports charity projects. At Easter 2011, Czech Television aired the show Klus pro Kuře, where he appeared as both a presenter and one of the performers.

In September 2011, he released the album Gull. It included a tour of the Czech Republic, long sold out in advance, including three concerts in Prague.

In 2014, the album Proměnamě was released. At his concerts, he is able to hold the audience’s attention for up to three hours. The musical arrangements and Jiří Kučerovský’s distinctive guitar accompaniment have a part to play in this.

He follows the Czech songwriting tradition and does not limit his work and interpretation to musical genres. His work is characterized by an emphasis on lyrics and melody, along with influences from his predecessors and his own expression.

The concert will take place in the historic courtyard of the 13th century castle in Pezinok and castle gates open for the concert at 6:30 p.m.
