Several times destroyed and yet always rising from the ashes – this is today’s Janko Kráľ Park, the oldest public park in Central Europe. It has had many names and many forms. It has witnessed many historical events and a few times completely lost contact with Bratislava, for which it was a popular recreational base. Today, the Janko Kráľa Park is the pride of Petržalka and the green lungs of the centre of Bratislava.
