After three months of rest, the much-loved (and hated) nature hikes are back! For the first one, we chose the no less favourite permanent feature of our homeland science – the Vydrice Valley.
On Saturday we will start from Tesco Lamač (which is actually in Karlova Ves) to get to know the remains of the mysterious Sellendorf and then head to the Iron Well via Partizánska meadow.
Here, after the first break, we will continue up the valley past Čatloška to Sliva, until we finally enter the highest part of the valley, which will take us past Jajcaj’s Cross to the White Cross.
After the second break we will descend past Zálistek to Rača, where we will return home from the Komisárky/Púchovská terminal via public transport and BID lines.
– Where can we find the remains of Sellendorf?
– When did the iron disappear from the water?
– Who turned the valley into a government residence?
– Where have the strange people been hiding?
– Why is the Vydrica getting shorter?
– What tragedies happened above Rača?
