The pop opera trio Gioia with great acclaim is constantly reaping success at home and abroad. GIOIA Peter Ševčík, Matej Vaník, Martin Vetrák is an ensemble of three singers creating a pop opera style and is unique of its kind in Central Europe.

The trio’s repertoire consists not only of well-known compositions of the world music scene, but especially remarkable adaptations of Slovak and Czech hits. Performed by a pop opera trio, all their songs sound in a previously unheard and original way.

GIOIA Peter Ševčík, Matej Vaník, Martin Vetrák is an ensemble of three singers creating a pop opera style and is unique of its kind in Central Europe.

The trio’s repertoire consists not only of well-known compositions of the world music scene, but especially remarkable adaptations of Slovak and Czech hits. Performed by a pop opera trio, all their songs sound in a previously unheard and original way. These three renowned singers take the operatic form “to the street” and something from the “street” back to the atmosphere of opera houses. The songs performed by the trio are intended for a wide audience. The powerful melodies strike the human heart and caress the soul.
