ADRA evening on humanitarian aid in times of war and Ebola. The theme of our evening will be a presentation of our humanitarian and development projects that we carry out both in the world and in Slovakia. The war in Ukraine, Ebola in Uganda, and the economic disaster in Lebanon. These are just a fraction of the challenges we face daily as a humanitarian and development organisation.
But what does this mean in practice? And how do our volunteers and project partners abroad deal with the volatile situation? How do we support them in these difficult times?
We will also tell you how Ugandan farmers are doing on our ADRA farm, what problems the Ukrainian displaced people on the run are facing, and why it is so difficult to help in Lebanon.
A special section is dedicated to volunteer projects through which we have sent volunteers to Uganda, Albania, Georgia, and Serbia.
We will also answer the most common questions about volunteering and opportunities to help in Slovakia and abroad.
The evening will also include a raffle and refreshments.
