The SND Opera will open the new theatre season with an extraordinary gala concert in honour of the late world opera legend Edita Gruber under the title EDITA GRUBEROVA TRIBUTE. The invitation to perform was accepted by world and Slovak opera stars Brenda Rae, Francisco Araiza, Pavol Bršlík, Slávka Zámečníková, Simona Šaturová, Ľubica Vargicová, Martina Masaryková, Mariana Sajko and Andrea Vizvári. Kevin Rhodes, the new chief conductor of the Slovak National Theatre, will conduct. This exceptional musical event will be complemented by the exhibition LA GRUBEROVÁ in the foyer of the Opera and Ballet.
