The High Tatras (Tritri = the word of Slavic origin referring to rock formations) are described as the smallest mountains in the world. Nevertheless, they give fascinating evidence of the outcome of the energies inside the planet, as well as of the solar-driven geological processes that act primarily on our surface.
They are the result of hundreds of millions of years of competition between internal and external geological aspects.
The unique exhibition about our mountains can be seen until March 1, 2020, at the Natural Museum.
Place: Slovak National Museum, Museum of natural history, Vajanského square, Bratislava
Date: until March 1, 2020
Starts: from 9 AM until 5 PM
Admission: 2 – 4 Eur
