On Sunday, September 13, 2026, Berlin will open its doors to some of its most fascinating monuments and historical sites as part of the nationwide Open Monument Day.

Open Monument Day offers free admission to 379 otherwise inaccessible buildings, historical bunkers, former industrial sites, and private monuments. A diverse program of events awaits you, including special exhibitions, family workshops, lectures, and short musical performances. Enjoy free expert-led tours that will guide you through special locations and reveal fascinating background stories, as well as neighborhood tours through various Berlin districts to discover their unique architecture.
