From July 31 to August 16, 2026, the 27th edition of the Young Euro Classic festival for classical music takes place at Konzerthaus Berlin. Stop by and experience international emerging talents along with a unique atmosphere!
The word “Euro” in the festival’s name stands for European orchestral culture and its spread across all continents. A typical concert at Young Euro Classic usually features a symphonic work from the 19th or 20th century, but you’ll also find brand-new pieces on the program.
The word “Young” represents the talented young musicians on stage—including ensembles like the European Union Youth Orchestra, the Bundesjugendorchester (National Youth Orchestra of Germany), the Jazz Institute Berlin, the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin, and the Barenboim-Said Academy. In total, 14 youth orchestras, two jazz ensembles, and a choir await you across 17 concert evenings.
And the word “Classic” stands for classical concerts that are anything but stiff or dry. Quite the opposite: if you think classical music is dusty, Young Euro Classic will prove you wrong. The lineup ranges from great classical masterpieces by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky to contemporary works and exciting world premieres.

On the special Children’s Day on August 9, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, your kids can explore the world of classical music up close and through play. Look forward to interactive hands-on activities, exciting insights into different instruments, and an all-around kid-friendly concert experience.
