Berlin Laughs! is an international street theater festival that transforms Berlin into one big open-air stage during the summer.
The festival takes place across two different locations: Washingtonplatz at Berlin Central Station (July 24 – August 23, 2026) and Potsdamer Platz (August 26 – September 13, 2026).
Throughout the festival, international performers from around the globe showcase a fascinating mix of acrobatics, theater, dance, and comedy.

The festival is free and open to everyone. In traditional street performance fashion, the shows are funded through pass-the-hat donations (“Hutgeld”)—if you enjoyed a performance, simply drop a tip into the artist’s hat at the end.
