From August 24 to 30, 2026, Berlin will once again transform into the stage for one of Germany’s most innovative cultural events: the Pop-Kultur Festival.
Far more than an ordinary music festival, Pop-Kultur sees itself as a platform for cross-border exchange, social discourse, and artistic experimentation. The festival takes place across various venues, including silent green Kulturquartier, Festsaal Kreuzberg, Kulturbrauerei, and other locations around Berlin.
This year’s lineup stands out with an eclectic mix of international and national acts. Highlights include names like The Notwist, Anushka Chkheidze & Robert Lippok, Sophia Kennedy, Bar Italia, Alystadyn, and Sassy 009.
Alongside traditional concerts, talks, and DJ sets, the festival features exclusive Commissioned Works—world premieres created specifically for the event that blend music, visual art, fashion, and performance. Groundbreaking Commissioned Works this year include exclusive premieres by acts such as:

Alejandra Cárdenas & La Full Moon Ensemble (“A Body Like a Home”)
Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys (“Animal / Symbol”)
A one-off live experiment by Fee Aviv Dubois, Ralph Heidel, and collaborators (“Before it’s over”)
