For ten days, the streets and squares of Hostafrancs come alive with music, local traditions and activities for different age groups. The celebration combines long-standing Catalan traditions with newer events, creating a lively community atmosphere away from Barcelona’s main tourist routes. It is a great way to experience the city through one of its local neighbourhood celebrations.
OFFICIAL PROGRAMME
📅 2–11 October: activities take place throughout Hostafrancs.
🎺 2 October: opening event and Festa Major proclamation.
🎭 Traditional culture, music, performances, workshops and activities for different audiences take place throughout the festival.
🍎 The traditional Fira de la Magrana is part of the celebrations.
🎶 Concerts and events organised by local neighbourhood organisations are also included.
