BAM is the music-focused part of La Mercè, with a strong emphasis on emerging artists and new sounds. Its programme covers a wide range of styles, from rock and electronic music to hip-hop, punk, R&B and experimental projects. Concerts take place at several well-known locations around Barcelona and are generally free to attend.
