From September 9th to 13th, Berlin Art Week takes place – the largest gathering of Berlin’s contemporary art scene.
Kulturprojekte Berlin is organizing a week packed with special exhibitions, performances, film screenings, and talks throughout the city.
On Wednesday, the first day of the festival, museums, art associations, and exhibition spaces across Berlin invite you to the openings of their new programs.
On Thursday, an art market awaits you at Positions Berlin Art Fair at Berlin-Tempelhof Airport, featuring national and international galleries, emerging artists, and established names. Thursday is also Gallery Night: In the evening, numerous galleries throughout the city will host exhibition openings.
On Friday, initiatives and project spaces will present their special programs throughout the city. In the evening, you can look forward to the Featured Night.
On Saturday, renowned private collections will open their doors and offer tours of private spaces belonging to Berlin collectors that are not normally open to the public. Please note: Places are very limited!
The final day of the festival, Sunday, features artist talks, a program in the Berlin Art Week Garden, and guided tours of exhibitions and project spaces. There’s something for everyone.
