History changes shapes of places we know until they are unrecognizable to us, on photographs or in our own memory. And that is a case of Rybné námestie, place only whose name stayed the same. Once, Danube bay (Dunajská zátoka) was also a part of Rybné námestie and it served as transshipment point for fish and other goods. Later on it served as a marketplace or also a place of religious gatherings. And at the very end, the name stayed, but the place disappeared from the face of Bratislava. Let´s listen to some interesting fact about the square and its history – it is part of heritage of our most beloved city.
