Although life is slowly returning to normal, there is always a need to be careful, so the city of Rome has prepared a great event for lovers of cinema and cinematography. To replace the visit to the cinema, you can try from June 20, 2020, Drive-In, where you can simply park your car and enjoy your favorite movie.
You can enjoy watching the films of various genres, which will be selected by the fans, in a safe distance from others, and in the comfort of their car. As for the areas that could be like Drive-In, in Rome we talk about the districts of Ponte Milvio, Caracalla and the EUR lake.
Drive-In cinema has a long history. This “cinema” consists of a large outdoor cinema screen and a large car park with spaces reserved for cars. In some Drive-In cinemas, we can also find picnic tables or outdoor seating, as well as playgrounds for the little ones. The screen doesn’t necessarily have to be just a canvas, it can be any white wall of sufficient size. In the first Drive-In cinema, the sound was provided by the speakers on the screen, subsequently by the speakers connected to each car. Then, to improve the sound, car radio turned on AM or FM was used. Drive-In cinema has become very popular all over the world and while for many, Drive-In cinema will not replace real cinemas, their usability is increasing and visitors are using it more and more. Drive-In during summer 2020 also seems to be the best idea to restart the film sector.
