Vienna Art Week

The 19th edition of VIENNA ART WEEK will take place from November 10 to 17, 2023. With the theme “Inciting Passion,” passion in all its forms is the linchpin of this year’s festival. Passion can be a driving force that inspires and motivates people to pursue their goals and desires with a radical level of commitment and dedication. It can bring out the best in us, but it can also be potentially destructive and dangerous. With this year’s theme, VIENNA ART WEEK aims to capture this ambiguity in all its different shades and reflect the emotional state of our time, from the private to the public sphere.

Vienna Art Week and its partners are pooling force for a diverse program, free of admission, including exhibition openings, performances, talks, guided tours, and much more. The venues spread across the city from Floridsdorf to the Inner City, from world-famous museums to newly discovered art spaces and artists’ studios. Vienna is art!

Around 140 events in institutions, independent spaces, exhibition spaces and galleries ensure a varied and exciting program throughout the week.
