EVASION TECHNIQUES is a moving exhibtion! Subversive strategies and derision of power in the Hungarian avant-garde of the 60s and 70s curated by Giuseppe Garrera, József Készman, Viktória Popovics and Sebastiano Triulzi.

Drawings, sculptures, photographs, postcards, typescripts, posters, books. Works and documents relating to the activity of a group of Hungarian dissident artists, dating back to the Sixties and Seventies, will be exhibited and collected and placed in safety by the Ludwig Museum in Budapest.
Through the works of Endre Tót, Judit Kele, Sándor Pinczehelyi, Bálint Szombathy, András Baranyay, Tibor Csiky, Katalin Ladik, László Lakner and others, the exhibition will describe the “evasion techniques” put in place by the authors to escape the controls, to stun censorship, to evade power, mock it and leave it banned.
A story of wonderful and moving art, as always are the stories of clandestinity and subterfuge, escape and avoidance.
The exhibition inaugurates a series of exhibition events designed to enhance and deepen the heritage of important contemporary archives.
