“Colors of the Etruscans” Exhibition

From 11 July 2019 to 2 February 2020 , the ” Colori degli Etruschi ” exhibition arrives at the Centrale Montemartini . The inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday 10 July at 6pm. Free entry with the #MICRomaCard.

Colors of the Etruscans, the exhibition
An extraordinary selection of figured wall plates and polychrome terracotta molded architectural decorations, originating from the territory of Cerveteri (the ancient city of Caere) and partly unpublished. These are archaeological finds of fundamental importance for the history of Etruscan painting, recently returned to Italy thanks to an operation to combat the illegal trafficking of archaeological finds of the Arma dei Carabinieri and the cultural diplomacy of the Mibac .
